The Enterprise Technology team supports insights with data and the technical systems that give our teams leverage to achieve their objectives. We work cross-functionally with Asana’s business teams to understand their goals and ensure they receive the data and technical support they need to flourish.

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Product Owner for our Marketing Technology team within Asana’s Enterprise Technology organization. This role will be critical in managing and optimizing our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and other Marketing Technology (Martech) tools. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the integration, configuration, and maintenance of Martech infrastructure.

This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

  • Data Analysis and Data Modeling: Perform data analysis using SQL to derive insights and inform decision-making.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain data models that support marketing technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency.
  • Product Backlog Management: Define and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the highest value and alignment with business goals.
  • Scope user stories, acceptance criteria, and document technical requirements for Martech initiatives.
  • Segment CDP Data Management: Ensure accurate and efficient data collection, transformation, and distribution through Segment.
  • Content Management System (CMS) Integration and Management: Define requirements and collaborate with web developers for CMS integration and customization to support marketing campaigns.
  • Personalization and Experimentation Tools: Implement and manage web personalization tools to deliver tailored experiences to customers and utilize data-driven insights to create and optimize personalization strategies.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years extensive experience in marketing technology with a strong focus on CDPs, preferably Segment, and marketing automation and CRM tools like Marketo, Iterable, and Salesforce.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and a solid understanding of data models.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Contentful and localization tools for multi-language content management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Product Owner Certification (CSPO or similar) is preferred, but not required.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 23,500 PLN - 29,833 PLN. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
