We combine pure self-serve or traditional PLG with innovative new customer assist motions, aiming to build the best and most efficient global customer acquisition, onboarding, expansion, and retention experiences. 

We are seeking a passionate, data-driven Growth Manager for our Self-Serve business on Global Growth. As a Growth Manager, you will develop strategies and lead initiatives that maximize revenue impact by working in partnership with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Experience, Data Science and Analytics) on the highest impact opportunities to drive better conversion, expansion or retention of Asana’s customers. You will excel in strategic thinking, analytical rigor, stakeholder management and an understanding of the SaaS customer journey, pain-points and motivations. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity, a willingness to experiment, openness to risk, and a test-and-learn mindset. This role will directly report to the Head of Self Serve business.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

  • Develop data-driven growth strategies and experiments to drive revenue growth by improving conversion, adoption and retention across the customer lifecycle
  • Demonstrate strong data analysis skills to identify growth opportunities across customer lifecycle, refine strategies based on insights, analyze performance and share recommendations
  • Influence cross-functional partners (product, engineering, marketing, design, data science, analytics) to ensure alignment and resourcing for revenue growth initiatives
  • Be accountable for key performance metrics related to the impact and reach of initiatives
  • Develop presentations to showcase progress for initiatives, results, and recommendations as part of MBRs and QBRs to partners and the leadership team

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, quantitative field of study strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, revenue growth, product, or business operations role in tech or SaaS
  • Experience developing and operationalizing strategic plans, including developing business case, navigating partner team priorities, and ensuring timely execution
  • Exceptional data and analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and experience using analytic platforms and growth tools. Familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, GrowthBook)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to simplify complex ideas and systems 
  • Proven ability to influence and work cross-functionally with executive stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor within challenging and complex situations
  • Strong teamwork and project management skills, experience leading cross-functional, multi-stakeholder initiatives, with a track record of delivering results
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and find creative solutions to ambiguous challenges

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $185,000 - $235,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
