We are looking for a visionary leader to pioneer our Enterprise Data Intelligence (EDI) initiatives from our Warsaw, Poland office. This role is critical for orchestrating data-driven decision-making processes, overseeing Data Integrations, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence across the entire organization. As an EDI Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our operational strategies by fostering seamless system and data integration, developing analytical dashboards, and ensuring insights reflect broader trends. 

The enterprise technology team delivers data insights and technical systems that give our teams leverage to accomplish their goals. We work cross-functionally with Asana’s Analytics, Data Science and business teams to understand their objectives and ensure they have the data and technical support they need to reach our audience. 

This role is based in our Poland office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve: 

  • Team Building and Leadership: Spearhead the creation of the EDI team from the ground up, ensuring a comprehensive approach that encompasses all functional areas. Coach and mentor team members to foster individual impact, balance growth, and cultivate leadership skills. 
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with business domain experts, data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to establish a multi-year vision and roadmap. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance our data architecture, advocating for necessary investments. 
  • Operational Excellence: Craft clear, sustainable team responsibilities, goals, and processes. Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional processes, recommending data-driven strategies for optimizing performance. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the Warsaw office and global headquarters, ensuring alignment of EDI strategies with corporate objectives. Partner with various teams to integrate and leverage data for strategic advantages. 

About You: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Extensive experience in engineering management, with a strong preference for backgrounds in data engineering, data integrations, and business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and managing teams from inception to achieving operational excellence. 
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with senior management to deliver integrated data solutions. 
  • Comfortable in a role that requires a blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on problem-solving. 
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity 
  • This position is based in Warsaw, Poland. The role requires flexibility to collaborate with teams across different time zones and occasional travel to headquarters for strategic meetings and alignment sessions.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 26,750 PLN - 34,083 PLN (gross monthly). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
