We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to lead our First Experience team, where you'll define and execute on a bold strategic vision to create delightful, personalized onboarding experiences that shape how millions of customers perceive and engage with Asana. You’ll work with a talented cross-functional team to invent new onboarding experiences that incorporate cutting-edge Al technology to accelerate time-to-value and ultimately, inspire customers on how AI can improve their day-to-day workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a deep love for customers, a track record of achieving ambitious outcomes, and the ability to transform bold ideas into reality through cross-functional partnership. Most importantly, you have the humility and growth mindset to learn, adapt, and elevate your team to achieve the extraordinary. 

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve

  • Define and deliver on a bold roadmap to accelerate customer time-to-value with AI as a potential “how”.
  • Partner closely with our AI organization to consider the future of AI Work Management and craft onboarding experiences that inspire prospective customers to dream bigger.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates across Data Science, User Research, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design to uncover novel customer insights and translate them into innovative customer-centric onboarding experiences
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and data-informed decision to improve the onboarding flow and drive meaningful business outcomes. 
  • With work customers in the world’s most inspiring organizations to gather insights, enable them to better onboard their teams to Asana, and ultimately, transform how they work. 
  • Accelerate Asana’s growth trajectory

About you

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including driving strategic, high-impact initiatives
  • Deep expertise in growth, onboarding, and/or personalization to deliver value to customers and outsized business impact
  • Exceptional customer-centric mindset, with a keen ability to balance user needs with business priorities. You love spending time with customers. 
  • Strategic mindset and ability to define and execute against a bold, long-term product vision while delivering incremental value
  • Data-savvy and metric-driven, with strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Curious and forward-thinking, with a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI/LLMs to solve customer problems in innovative ways
  • Humble and growth-oriented, with a desire to continuously learn, give/receive feedback, and elevate the team
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced environment

What we’ll offer

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $202,000 - $316,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
