We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Services Consultant to join our dynamic team at Asana. As a Professional Services Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional consulting services to our clients, ensuring successful implementation and utilisation of Asana. You will work closely with our clients, understanding their unique business needs and translating them into effective solutions using our software

Your impact as a professional service consultant will support our rapidly growing enterprise and strategic customer base. You will serve as an empathetic customer advocate, problem solver, partner in change, and product expert, as well as the voice of your customers cross-functionally. You will be a valuable liaison to the product team, providing real time customer product feedback. In addition you will partner with our Channel business to expand our professional services delivery through our partner ecosystem.   

This role is based in our Munich office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

  • Deeply understand Asana the product as well the business issues and problems being resolved in Asana, to serve as both a product expert and trusted advisor through the change process
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on system optimization, workflow improvement, and best practices. Analyse client processes, identify opportunities for enhancement, and recommend strategies for maximizing value from the software.
  • Develop a creative, tailored engagement scope for each customer based upon their complex processes, needs, and jointly set goals to ensure a successful change; develop tailored, customized content to accompany engagement, as needed
  • Plan and execute projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and client expectations. Manage project scope, risks, and issues, proactively communicating progress and mitigating challenges
  • Facilitate the change management process and associated engagement activities, such as customer trainings, executive reviews, and regular progress meetings to ensure engagement success and customer adoption
  • Analyze the strengths and opportunities of our professional services offerings and engagements to drive continuous enhancement of our programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Support, to share customer feedback, insights, and contribute to product improvement initiatives. 
  • Own and maintain the EMEA paid onboarding program, delivered by our trusted service partners across the region. This includes the proactive management of ongoing onboardings to ensure successful completion, promoting the adoption of the program with cross functional teams, and reporting on key performance metrics.

About you

  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a consultant, preferably within the SaaS domain.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving high levels of client satisfaction. Proactive in identifying opportunities to add value to clients' businesses.
  • You have exceptional relationship building skills that fosters credibility, trust, and opportunity with clients and colleagues.
  • You have a growth mindset, a high general business acumen for what drives success for our clients as well as how change impacts that success, and an aptitude for taking the initiative and problem solving in the face of ambiguity.
  • Proficient in configuring and implementing SaaS solutions. Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies, APIs, data integration, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and deliver practical recommendations. Excellent client-facing and communication skills, including active listening and effective presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit. 

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between €104,000 - €132,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
