Our sales team is focused on finding efficient paths to successful, profitable, long-term customers by building a user-driven marketing and sales engine. To do so, we employ a bottom-up enterprise sales model by helping many small, successful customers evolve into larger, successful ones. We act as a key voice of the customer to the product team. We help identify and overcome technical, educational, and competitive obstacles to our continued growth.

The New Business Team focuses on prospects & customers early in their journey with Asana, running ‘at scale’ sales motions to engage and onboard our customers early in their journey with Asana, focusing on increasing adoption, engagement and identifying opportunities for expansion. 

This role is based in our Dublin office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve

  • Lead a team of New Business Account Executives to successfully achieve quota
  • Streamline and operationalise processes to enhance efficiency, productivity and scalability. Implement best practices and tools to drive operational excellence. This would include leveraging tools like Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, Pocus. It also encompasses building new processes for future scale. 
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide hands on coaching to all New Business Account Executives to ensure development of junior talent within the sales organisation
  • Lead strategic planning for your team, including: territory planning, deal strategy development, and enablement
  • Achieve ambitious quarterly targets 
  • Partner with SDR, Sales Programs, Solution Consulting and other Cross-Functional Teams
  • Run team forecasting meetings and deal reviews to deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts

About you

  • 2 years of leadership experience in a quota-carrying role leading a team of Account Executives
  • Demonstrated experience and success in an individual contributor quota carrying role 
  • Experience leading fast paced teams with an ability to work with ambiguity in a fast moving environment
  • Strong leadership skills, keen business acumen and a passion for driving excellence and innovation 
  • A passion for coaching, developing and transforming world class talent and being in front of the customer 
  • An aptitude for problem solving and developing creative solutions
  • A history of developing and implementing prospecting strategies to build pipeline
  • Selling to and supporting the Marketing, Sales, Operations, HR and Collaboration (IT) functions plus familiarity with working in Product Led Growth / Sales Assisted businesses

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between €99,000 - €126,500. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
