New York CityApply now

We are looking for an experienced, senior product manager for our core product teams to build the best-in-class work management experiences for our biggest global customers. You're an experienced product leader who has deep empathy for enterprise-grade customers, who excels in conducting and applying complex, systems-level thinking. You will be building out the entire text editing experience across all of Asana, driving up collaboration and usability on our Task product, a core unit of the Asana Work Graph, and unlocking powerful, advanced functionality on subtasks, one of the most trafficked and utilized features on Asana to date—across all device platforms, including web, desktop, and mobile. You thrive on cross-functional collaboration and are excited to partner with engineering, design, user research, product marketing, product leadership, and the rest of our amazing PM team.

This role is based in our New York City office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Define and deliver a compelling roadmap that delivers value for enterprise-level customers
  • Partner closely with Product Design to create an enterprise software experience that’s intuitive and dead simple
  • Create a product strategy to balance multiple priorities and use cases across customers, product teams, and enterprise-level compliance
  • Maximize clarity by bringing a data-driven mindset to setting concrete goals and milestones
  • Partner with engineering, design, and other functions to execute on roadmaps with high velocity

About you

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or equivalent. Experience building for complex data models and visualizations, enterprise-focused UX, and B2B platforms preferred.
  • Conceptualize valuable connections between work data, actions that people need to take, and the insights that make work more efficient.
  • Inspire the company by creating bold, intuitive work connections within the platform and scoping them to solve the most critical customer problems.
  • Create, flex, and evangelize a roadmap; thoughtfully break down projects to MVPs and iterative projects to ship with high velocity and business impact.
  • Analyze our top customer personas; dig into the roots of customer needs; synthesize research to gain a deep understanding and narrow definition of a problem.
  • Partner with cross-functional teammates to deliver high-quality results. You speak with clarity and write sharp product specs. You are highly comfortable getting into deep technical discussions with engineers about the pros and cons of different approaches, and you pair with design on complex user flows.
  • Are a mentor for others; create great team morale; share PM best practices.
  • Lead with curiosity and are open to feedback in order to learn.
