Marketing Lead, Southern Europe

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead, Southern Europe to lead regional marketing across Southern Europe, with France as the clear priority market and Spain and Italy as important markets within the broader regional scope. In this high-ownership role, you will operate like a mini CMO for the region by shaping strategy, influencing go-to-market priorities, partnering closely with sales leadership, and building programs that drive pipeline while strengthening Asana’s presence in market. You will navigate thoughtful prioritization across markets with different levels of maturity, investment, and opportunity, balancing immediate business impact with longer-term market development.
This role is based in our Paris office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve

Lead the Southern Europe regional marketing strategy, focusing execution choices on France as the primary market while supporting broader regional growth through partner-led and targeted approaches.

Determine the regional marketing plan and mix across owned events, trade shows, customer programs, campaigns, webinars, partner activations, and account-based motions.

Partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align marketing investments directly to target accounts, priority segments, whitespace opportunities, and pipeline goals.

Own Asana’s end-to-end presence at key trade shows and industry events in France and across the region, converting those moments into visibility, engagement, and pipeline opportunities.

Act as the strategic voice of Southern Europe in EMEA and global planning sessions, ensuring campaigns, messaging, and investments reflect local needs and opportunities.

Help shape how Asana and Asana AI show up in Southern Europe through relevant messaging, local customer stories, executive engagement, and strong in-market execution.

Manage regional budgets, reporting, and performance analysis, utilizing data insights to continuously refine programs and maximize business impact across markets.
About you

Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Brings 5+ years of experience in field marketing, regional marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.

Proven track record of shaping marketing strategy specifically for France, with experience handling multiple European markets considered a distinct advantage.

Demonstrates strong commercial judgment when turning broad company priorities into a focused regional plan and making clear execution trade-offs.

Possesses the agility to operate at different altitudes, seamlessly moving between strategic planning and hands-on campaign execution.

Exhibits confidence partnering with senior sales stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams to drive shared goals.

Strong event leadership and campaign management skills, combined with analytical capabilities to guide investment choices using performance data.

Professional fluency in both English and French is required; proficiency in Spanish or Italian is beneficial.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between €84,000 - €106,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
