GTM Systems and Business Process Manager
San Francisco
We are looking for a strategic Business Process Manager to architect the agentic transformation of our GTM tech stack. The GTM Ops, Strategy, Field Readiness, and Sales Development team at Asana enables growth, efficiency, and performance at scale through the strategic management of revenue operations, systems, strategy + analytics, and enablement. In this role, you will act as a thought partner to business stakeholders, a designer of future-state workflows, and the connective tissue between the business and Enterprise Technology (ET). You will own our end-user CPQ experience, drive our agentic quoting capability, and solve complex system dependencies across the broader GTM ecosystem to help Asana scale.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.
What you’ll achieve
- Partner as a key cross-functional thought leader with Sales, RevStrat, ET, Deal Desk, and Finance to design scalable, AI-ready workflows that accommodate evolving GTM motions.
- Own the strategy, requirements gathering, and adoption health of our CPQ platform and agentic quoting capabilities.
- Scope, prioritize, and manage enhancements across the Salesforce Opportunity object and broader GTM stack to maximize data integrity and cross-functional alignment.
- Execute end-to-end UAT by authoring test scenarios, managing edge cases, and establishing a reusable UAT framework for future releases.
- Resolve handoff failures across system integration points to optimize downstream operations across Deal Desk, Provisioning, Order Management, and Billing.
- Deliver transparent communication and regular updates regarding project timelines, success metrics, and release roadmaps to cross-functional stakeholders.
About you
- Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce and the Sales Cloud ecosystem, alongside demonstrated experience designing complex CPQ platforms in production environments.
- Strong systems-thinking perspective with the ability to map data flows, anticipate upstream/downstream impacts, and translate ambiguous needs into structured process documentation.
- Proven capability as a strategic thought partner who can challenge assumptions, reframe business problems, and build scalable processes without a pre-existing playbook.
- Full lifecycle understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) operations and handoffs into Deal Desk, Billing, Provisioning, and Revenue Recognition.
- Comprehensive UAT execution background with experience designing edge-case test scripts and driving defect resolution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with equal comfort presenting to business leaders and technical engineering teams.
