In this pivotal role, you will be the strategic partner to our sales organization, empowering them to maximize their impact. You will lead the development of our outbound product marketing strategy, ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the right content, tools, and guidance to engage customers effectively. This includes shaping our approach to sales plays, optimizing the use of sales productivity technology, and developing content and soft skill enablement to enhance every customer interaction. Your work will directly translate to increased efficiency and efficacy for the sales team, as you design and implement a robust system for reporting and measuring the success of these activities. You will be a key driver of continued pipeline growth and a critical collaborator across our marketing and sales teams.
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. What you'll achieve:
- Lead the adoption of the "Outbound 2.0" workflow, ensuring all Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and their managers effectively generate sales-driven pipeline.
- Continuously refine and optimize the outbound workflow, focusing on play and content performance to maximize results. Re-ignite and lead the monthly Outbound Excellence Committee to drive this initiative.
- Build and maintain an effective Outbound tracking dashboard in Salesforce that democratizes data, providing managers and stakeholders with clear insights on plays, engagement, and KPIs.
- Create comprehensive training, playbooks, and content that embed outbound best practices, including soft skills, personalization, video selling, and multi-threading.
- Help make our Consensus tool a success by developing a library of 10-20 Outbound-specific videos aligned to sales plays and ICPs, while also collaborating with Customer Success to launch proactive engagement plays.
About you:
- You have a proven background in B2B SaaS, with a strong understanding of how sales organizations operate.
- You have hands-on experience using sales productivity tools such as Outreach, Pocus, Consensus, Salesforce, and Chorus.
- You are skilled at using data to inform strategy and can translate insights into actionable plans that drive business results, with a focus on metrics like AE and BDR pipeline growth and tool adoption.
- You take initiative and move quickly to get things done, with a knack for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- You have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and can craft compelling, data-driven narratives.
- You demonstrate curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $118,000-131,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
