At Asana, we’re working to empower all teams to do great things together, and thinking globally is a key part of that strategy. Just this spring we opened our engineering office in New York, and today we’re excited to tell you about our first international home away from home in Dublin, Ireland.

Asana’s head of business, Chris Farinacci, explains, “This new office will serve as our European operating hub as we scale and grow our business in Europe, and allow us to more directly serve that growing customer base.”

Great people are what make a great company, and locating here gives us access to a broad, experienced talent pool.

That growing base includes customers like Spotify, Tesco, Santander Norway, and Vodafone, with more European companies moving to Asana every month. We’re excited to build out a user and customer support team in Dublin to serve these customers and help them get the most out of Asana.

Chris adds, “Ireland was the ideal choice. Ireland has a great reputation as the European home to many high-growth and innovative technology ventures like ours. Great people are what make a great company, and locating here gives us access to a broad, experienced talent pool.”

Dublin celebrates

Our office is located in the City Centre, in the same building where Facebook and Twitter opened their first international headquarters. Those companies have now moved on to bigger office spaces in Dublin, where the tech industry is growing quickly.

One of our teammates who recently relocated from San Francisco to Dublin, shared his keen perceptions on his new digs: “It’s rainy! ☂” (Maybe we should have asked someone else. 😕)

As of today we have six employees in the Dublin office. And we’re still hiring!
