For Asana customers and their teams, it’s been a big year. From launching new products faster to transforming how work gets done, teams around the world have done extraordinary things this year with Asana. It’s been inspiring to see, and it’s why we keep working hard towards our mission of enabling all teams to work together effortlessly.

It’s also been a pivotal year for us at Asana as we hit several milestones in service of our mission.

We shared our vision for the future of Asana and introduced Timeline and Portfolios to give teams more time to focus on the work that matters. To help customers turn communication into action, we rolled out Asana for Outlook and a new version of our Asana for Slack integration. We launched Asana in Spanish and Portuguese (which join French and German) and took our Asana Together World Tour to Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Amsterdam, Berlin, and São Paulo to connect with our global community. We grew the Asana team across our offices in San Francisco, New York, Dublin, and Sydney and were named a Top 5 Best Place to Work by Fortune and Great Place to Work®.

And to cap off the year, we raised a $50M Series E round of funding at a valuation of $1.5 billion led by Generation Investment Management. This brings our total funding raised in 2018 to $125 million, which will enable us to continue delivering on our product vision and better support our customers globally.

As we approach the end of 2018, we wanted to thank the million-plus organizations (big and small) that use Asana to move work forward for an amazing year and to celebrate their accomplishments.
