What's the difference between a portfolio and a project?

A portfolio allows you to monitor multiple projects in one place. On the other hand, a project is a hub where you can organize tasks for a specific initiative. Simply put, a portfolio is higher level and contains projects, while a project is more specific and contains tasks.

What are portfolio status updates?

Portfolio status updates allow you to quickly share how the projects in your portfolio are performing. Build your update with a few clicks and share it with every member of your portfolio.

What are nested portfolios?

You can add portfolios—not just projects—to another portfolio. That’s what nested means: portfolios within a portfolio. This allows you to track and organize work at a higher level.
