Connect Jira Software Server to Asana

This integration is available to all paid Asana customers who also have a Jira Software Server account. You will need Administrator level access in Jira Software Server and an Asana Premium account to complete the install.

Here’s how to set up the Jira Software Server + Asana integration:

  1. Navigate to the Jira App Marketplace and search for the Asana for Jira Server plug-in.
  2. Install the plug-in. Then select Connect to Asana and authorize Asana. Wait for the app to display confirmation of successful authorization. The integration will not work until this step is complete.
  3. Sign in to your Asana account and go to the project where you want to enable the Jira Software Server + Asana integration.
  4. Click on Customize in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. Scroll down to the Apps section, then select +Add app.
  6. Select Jira Software Server.
  7. You can now use the Jira Software Server field in project tasks to link new or existing issues.
