With the Zoom + Asana integration, Asana users can easily create and link Zoom meetings in Asana tasks. Then, once the meeting is over, the Zoom + Asana integration pulls meeting transcripts and recordings into Asana, so all task collaborators and stakeholders can review the meeting as needed.

Meetings are a great way to push work forward and align on next steps. Now, you can seamlessly connect meetings and action items by linking Zoom meetings to Asana tasks. Asana will automatically pull the recording and transcript from Zoom once the meeting ends, so the entire team can stay aligned on decisions and next steps.

How to connect Zoom + Asana

  1. Sign up for a Zoom account and an Asana account to get started.
  2. Log into Asana, and find the project where you want to enable the Zoom + Asana integration.
  3. Click on Apps in the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Select +Add Apps.
  5. Select Zoom.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to Zoom.
  7. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll be able to link existing meetings that you’ve created from your calendar to Asana tasks, or create new Zoom meetings in Asana.

Please note that certain recording and transcription functionality will only be available for Zoom users on plans that include recording and transcription.

What can I do with the Zoom + Asana integration?

With the Zoom + Asana integration, you can link existing Zoom meetings to Asana tasks or create a new Zoom meeting from Asana. Then, once the meeting is over, Asana will automatically pull your Zoom recording and transcript into the related Asana task for future review.

Why isn’t the Zoom integration showing up in Asana?

To enable the Zoom + Asana integration, make sure you’ve added Zoom to the project you’re in. Go to Apps in the upper right-hand corner. Then, select +Add Apps and Zoom. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in to Zoom. You should now be able to create or link Zoom meetings in Asana tasks.

Does this work with Zoom Rooms?

While this isn’t a direct integration with Zoom Rooms, you can link meetings that are scheduled in Zoom Rooms.

Does this work for on-prem Zoom installations?

No, we do not provide on-prem support.
