Counting down the weeks until the holidays, while simultaneously wondering how much work is due before you get a break? Walking between meetings and wishing you could quickly scan your workload for the next two weeks? Your calendar should give you the most accurate view of your work (along with what day it is 😊). Unfortunately, most calendars don’t actually include the information you want to see—leaving you switching between a spreadsheet or to-do list and your calendar.
With Calendar View in Asana, you can visualize when work is happening in real time. As dates shift, you don’t have to worry about updating multiple places—your calendar automatically does it for you. With the recent announcement of Calendar View for mobile and start dates for Asana Premium, you can now quickly see when work is happening—not just when it’s due (on any device).
View any project or My Tasks in a weekly or monthly Calendar View on your mobile device. Whether you’re checking in between meetings, working in a showroom, or waiting in line for your latte, your work is always quickly accessible in your preferred view. And when you can visualize when work is happening, it’s easier to make informed decisions for your team.
Navigate to any project or My Tasks.
Select Task List or Board under the project name or My Tasks.
Select Calendar. Your calendar will default to a month view, but simply click the button in the top right of the calendar to switch to a weekly view.
Since announcing Calendar View on mobile last month, you now have the ability to edit start dates right in the calendar. You will soon have the ability to add start dates directly from mobile, so you can accurately track when work is kicking off. Stay tuned for more updates!
With Calendar View in Asana you can see the most up-to-date view of when work is happening, even as deadlines change. And with the addition of start dates for Asana Premium, you can see when work needs to start and when it’s due—all in one simple view.
Whether you’re managing a marketing campaign, editorial calendar, or other project in Asana—view it in the way that helps you understand what’s happening, when. This way you can easily see gaps and adjust dates so you don’t overbook your team.
