As a Workplace Lead, you will lead office operations at our Vancouver office, providing operational support and creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. You will be joining a dedicated team focused on delivering an exceptional employee experience. Together, we foster strong, productive partnerships with local leadership, ensuring the office operates smoothly and efficiently. You will have a direct impact on the office culture, working alongside various teams to coordinate events and maintain open communication regarding facilities and security.
This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days for this role are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for most Asanas. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you’ll achieve:
- You will welcome all visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and adherence to our Guest Policy.
- Enhance the employee experience by collaborating with local site leadership to provide exceptional operational and workplace support.
- Oversee daily office operations, including vendor management, deliveries, and maintenance, ensuring efficient service provision.
- Organize and lead office-wide events, working with Internal Events and Employee Engagement teams to foster a vibrant office culture.
- Partner with People and IT teams to facilitate seamless onboarding for new employees and ongoing operational support.
- Maintain open lines of communication with Workplace team members about facilities or security-related issues.
- Negotiate and manage vendor and landlord contracts, focusing on service quality and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with the Culinary team to align daily food service with headcount attendance and program budgets.
About you:
- You have a keen ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing time effectively.
- Demonstrate a friendly and professional demeanor, building relationships with both colleagues and visitors.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, and ask questions proactively when needed.
- Consistently meet commitments and expectations, showcasing punctuality and reliability.
- Quickly adapt to and learn our culture and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Google Apps and other calendar/meeting applications.
- 1-3 years of direct customer service experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in office operations.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $70,000-$78,000 CAD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
