Asana's Work Innovation Lab joined forces with leading experts from Stanford University and UC Santa Barbara to dive deep into the psychological underpinnings of AI adoption. Our mission? To boost AI adoption by transforming AI skeptics into enthusiasts—and in doing so, gain buy-in from across your organization—which is critical to the success of any AI initiative.
Employees' attitudes and beliefs about AI—what we call their “AI Mindsets”—can be changed. But there’s a catch—this only happens under specific conditions. Our findings reveal a new understanding of how organizations can help their people more effectively adopt and embrace AI.
The enthusiast advantage
Employees who are enthusiastic about AI are 2x more likely to use AI at work and are 60% more likely to report productivity gains compared to those who are skeptical.
