Connect Asana to the other business apps you use and let Tavion agents create, update and report on your Asana
Tavion connects Asana to the other business apps a small business runs on and lets AI agents do the work between them. Connect your Asana workspace once through OAuth, then ask in plain language: Tavion creates and assigns tasks and subtasks, adds comments, updates progress, and reports what remains open, asking for your approval before every change. A closed deal, a paid invoice or a new support request can trigger the right Asana work automatically. Your data is used only to carry out your requests and is never sold, used for ads or used to train models.
Prerequisites:
A Tavion account (sign up at https://auth.tavion.com).
An Asana account in any workspace or organization. If your organization requires admin approval for apps, an Asana admin must approve Tavion first.
Steps to Connect:
Sign in to Tavion and open the assistant by selecting New in the sidebar.
Ask in plain words, for example: "Connect my Asana and show me the projects in my workspace."
The assistant replies with a Connect to Asana card. Click Connect.
Asana opens its Grant Permission page, which lists Tavion and the requested permissions. Click Allow.
Tavion displays a success page. Click Finish. The assistant continues with the request and lists your projects.
Use Asana in Tavion:
Ask the assistant in plain language, for example: "In the Warranty jobs project, create a task due October 14 assigned to me, with three subtasks and a comment."
The assistant displays the planned changes and asks for your approval before any change, then performs them in Asana with your personal permissions and returning the status of each action.
Permissions
No additional Asana settings need to be configured. Tavion requests only the permissions displayed on Asana's consent screen, which you approve when connecting. If your organization requires admin approval for apps, an Asana admin must approve Tavion first.
Disconnecting
In Asana, go to your profile, navigate to Settings > Apps, and click Deauthorize next to Tavion. Tavion will then confirm that the Asana connection is no longer authorized.
