What is Outplanr?

Outplanr is a project and resource manager that turns your to-do list into a weekly work plan, so you can see what your team is doing in real-time. You can organize and keep track of multiple projects and resources, while making sure everyone knows what do and when, avoiding stress for the team and keeping everyone motivated and on track.

Why connect Outplanr and Asana?

Outplanr will help managers see how busy each resource is at any time and plan their workload to avoid overtime or empty days. The team can keep checking off tasks in Asana, and the manager can see them reflected in Outplanr.

Outplanr gives a layer of time tracking and calendar planning that includes the whole team and all projects they’re working on, allowing users to edit start dates and task lengths and due dates accordingly.

How to connect Outplanr and Asana

  1. Sign up for an Outplanr account to be an administrator or manager of that account. Only administrators and managers will be able to create a link to an Asana account.
  2. Connect your account to Asana by going to your Outplanr settings menu, selecting the tab "Integrations" and clicking on the button "Add" in front of the Asana logo.
  3. You’ll be taken to the Asana integration page and asked to log in to your Asana account and grant permission to connect to it.
  4. Select which users and projects you'd like to import to Outplanr straight away. The users will be linked by their email address, or created if they’re not in Outplanr. All projects will be listed under their workspace name as groups.
  5. When this connection is completed, you then will be redirected to your Outplanr account, and you can check the App integration straight away.
