What is Crafting Sandboxes?
Crafting provides secure, production-like cloud sandboxes for engineering teams building with AI agents. Developers use Crafting to let coding agents and teammates run, test, and validate code against real dependencies and data.
The Asana integration lets a Crafting user connect their own Asana account via OAuth 2.0. Once connected, they are able to access Asana from Crafting conveniently and securely under their own identity.
Access is org-oriented and consent-based: the admin user authorizes their own account, access/refresh tokens are stored encrypted and used only to make requests for that org, and the admin user can disconnect at any time from Crafting or revoke access from their Asana account settings.
How to connect Crafting Sandboxes + Asana?
- Go to Connect / LLM → Discovery in Crafting's web console.
- Add the Asana MCP server to Authorized MCP Servers.
- Authorize Crafting to access your Asana workspace.
- Optionally add the Asana MCP server to Globally Activated MCP Servers so it shows up in sandbox metadata.
- Done! It's now available to agents and CLI tools in your sandboxes.
