What is Canva?

With the Canva for Asana integration, easily embed beautiful Canva designs to bring your Asana projects to life. From presentation decks, social media assets, wireframes, to videos, the Canva integration allows you to consolidate all your ideas and designs all in one place so you can seamlessly communicate and collaborate.

Get Canva + Asana

  1. Create or open an existing Canva design.
  2. On the top corner of the editor, click the ••• button.
  3. On the search bar, type “embed.” Click Embed.
  4. For your design to be embedded, it will be made public. Click Embed to confirm.
  5. In Asana, open the project where you'd like to embed a Canva file
  6. Go to the Overview tab
  7. In the Key Resources section, click Create a Project Brief. If there's already a Project Brief, click anywhere on the title
  8. When the Brief opens, click Edit on the top right
  9. Click the place in the Brief you'd like to embed
  10. Paste in the Canva URL and a preview will expand below it
  11. Alternatively, click the + icon to at the left side of the line you're on and choose Insert Media. Paste the share URL into the box and click Embed link
