The Asana bot for Webex lets you see when tasks are created, assigned, and updated, so you can more quickly react to new work developments—right in your Webex spaces. Now you can easily create, search, and update tasks an on-the-fly! Here’s what you can do:

Add the Asana bot to any space:

  • Create Task or Subtask
  • Search for Tasks and Subtasks
  • Update details and due dates
  • Mark tasks complete

Receive customizable notifications such as:

  • Task Created, Copied, or Marked Duplicate
  • Subtask Created, Copied, or Marked Duplicate
  • Task Updated, Including Notifications for a Task When Assigned, Removed, Attachments Added, Comments Added, Due Date Updated, Complete, Incomplete, or Added to Favorites
  • Subtask Updated, Including Notifications for a Task When Assigned, Removed, Attachments Added, Comments Added, Due Date Updated, Complete, Incomplete, or Added to Favorites

How to connect Webex + Asana

Here’s how to set-up the integration:

  1. To get started, go to your selected Webex space.
  2. Type "@" and select Asana, followed by the command: help.
  3. Click “Link Asana Account” and sign in with your Asana account information.
  4. When you've successfully authorized your Asana account, you’ll receive a confirmation.
  5. Select your Asana Organization or workspace and click “Connect.”
  6. Then, select a project and click “Link.”
