Michelin ResiCare wanted to accelerate launching its bio-based solutions, marketed under the ResiCare brand. The team sought a single platform to coordinate projects and priorities, speed time-to-market and sustain strong customer relationships. Asana delivered clear visibility, faster execution and enabled new levels of operational insights.
Founded in 2016, Michelin ResiCare is a team of around 60 employees within tire manufacturer Michelin - a global group with 132,000 employees, 121 production sites, 9 R&D centers, and a presence in 175 countries.

Faster execution and time-to-market

I heard a team member say 'I have no idea how I worked before Asana'. It’s a real sign of trust and, above all, clarity. Everyone is aligned, and we’ve gained both peace of mind and efficiency.”
Michelin ResiCare needed to standardize and structure its processes around its portfolio of industrial projects while also speeding up new product launches to drive growth. Its prior experience with Asana, together with Asana being recognized as a leader in a Gartner Magic Quadrant, made it clear for both Chief Revenue Officer Aymeric Denoeud and IT Project Manager Romuald Artis that Asana was the best partner.
With Asana, every project now follows a "Stage Gate" model where projects are divided into distinct phases and decision gates to reduce risk and enhance communication. Key criteria and deliverables are assessed at each stage before advancing, providing users with a homogenized, real-time view of project status.
Asana’s Work Graph connects all information in real time. A key benefit is that each task can belong to several projects without duplication, which eliminates silos. Now that tasks are grouped into portfolios and linked to objectives (OKRs), teams get a strategic view and clear alignment between departments and it’s easier to check that tasks are aligned with the company’s overall strategic objective.
Results and Benefits
Time saved via preconfigured project templates
Standardized methods and improved cross-functional coordination
Visual reporting at all project levels, enabling smarter decisions

Stage Gate in Asana lets us launch projects faster and keep everyone aligned to the same milestones.”
Michelin ResiCare's IT department needed to keep pace with rapid business demands, where prioritization and resource management were essential. Visibility was a key challenge: IT was often perceived as operating in a silo. The department needed to better underline its value-add and benefits to the whole company. Working with Asana on a small pilot, it demonstrated the benefits that would apply to all business units, leading to increasing demand for the Asana rollout to ensure wider information sharing and impact tracking.
Since it operates like a start-up within a large conglomerate, Michelin ResiCare lacked the standard IT structure of a big enterprise. That meant common methods, work management practices and streamlined communications all had to be established. Asana enabled centralized IT governance, automated ticketing forms to qualify requests, enabled priority management, and implemented ongoing user support tracking. These processes led to greater clarity, faster turnaround, global alignment and improved IT-business collaboration.
Results and Benefits
Easier workload/resource management
Greater enterprise-wide visibility

Ticketing forms structured our daily support and allowed us to absorb growth.”
Michelin Engineered Polymer’s legal team processes approximately 150 NDAs each year, a repetitive and time-consuming task. The department decided to use Asana’s integrated AI and a custom prompt to automate contract comparisons in line with internal standards, and to flag deviations – sending the results for legal review prior to completion. By eliminating manual work, the legal team estimates that it has enjoyed savings of an entire working week per employee.
Results and Benefits
One week of time saved annually per employee
More reliable, secure process
Improved clarity in tracking and productivity

Thanks to Asana’s AI Studio, we turned an administrative constraint into a real productivity driver.”
Michelin ResiCare plans to further scale its use of Asana, multiplying projects, teams and geographies, all while remaining agile and maintaining quality.
Adoption and implementation
Mandatory training at rollout, then a network effect – as “super users” onboarded others
Adoption was easy thanks to Asana's intuitive interface and integration into team routines

Our next challenge is scaling up: more teams, projects, and locations – all while staying fast and high-quality. Now, we finally have the tools to do it.”
