Core Features

Collaborative status updates

You'll soon be able to add collaborators to draft status updates, find all drafts in the Status dropdown, and keep everyone informed with notifications. This will be available for projects, portfolios, and goals.

Strategy map enhancements

Create goals and connect work from the canvas, edit goals in an interactive right pane, and access helpful onboarding tools to get started

Multi-Task manual triggers

Execute actions on multiple tasks simultaneously, making it easier to scale processes and save valuable time.

Rule settings sidebar

We’re introducing a new Settings Sidebar for rule configuration, making it more intuitive, scalable, and aligned with Asana’s familiar sidebar pattern.

Team knowledge base (tab, hovercard, AI integrations)

We're introducing a team knowledge base to help clarify company jargon, acronyms, and technical terms in Asana, improving onboarding and enhancing AI-powered features with better context.

Attribute tracked time to a project of record

Time tracking now allows each entry to be attributed to a single project for more accurate accounting, billing, and payroll. If a task is in multiple projects, the attributable project will default based on where the entry is made.

Set task color by custom field on universal workload

Soon, you'll be able to set a task color by custom field on the universal workload, similar to the portfolio workload experience

Inbox Notifications in Microsoft Teams

Stay focused and reduce context switching with real-time Inbox notifications that let you reply to comments, create follow-up tasks, and complete work, without ever leaving Microsoft Teams.

Bundle contents in the Customize menu

Easily see workflow objects installed by a bundle in the Customize Menu with history and improved navigation for a smoother experience.

iOS saved tabs

We're introducing saved tabs to our iOS app to enhance your experience on the web and mobile.

Credits usage available for Free AI Studio in admin console

Admins of free AI Studio will now see their credit usage to track activity and assess upgrade options.

Per-workflows AI studio usage data available in admin console

AI studio usage reporting is expanding from a per-person breakdown to include per-workflow insights, giving admins more visibility and control to understand usage and assess the value of AI studio for their domain.
