What is Elaichi?

Elaichi turns your Asana workspace into tools an AI agent can call, alongside the CRM, the ticket queue, the wiki and the rest of your stack, from a catalog of 400+ connectors. Ask what is overdue on a project, summarize a sprint, find every task blocking a launch, then create a task, reassign it or change its due date without leaving the conversation. An admin connects Asana once and shares it with the people who need it, so nobody hands out credentials or wires up a personal API key. Each agent gets exactly the access the person it acts for already has in Asana, never more, and admins choose which tools each role can call. Every call is checked against those rules and logged. The integration works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, any MCP client, or the Elaichi Agent through a single endpoint.

How to connect Elaichi + Asana?

Prerequisites: An Elaichi workspace (sign up at https://app.elaichi.ai/signup) and an Asana account. Any Asana user can connect their own account; an admin is only needed to share one connection with a team.

Follow these steps to connect Elaichi and Asana:

  1. Sign in at https://app.elaichi.ai. Invite your team, or connect your identity provider if you use SSO and SCIM.

  2. Open Connections, choose Asana, and click Connect. You will be redirected to Asana to sign in and approve access. Your own Asana permissions carry over, so Elaichi can never read or change more than you already can.

  3. Share the connection with a team, or keep it personal. Then set role-based rules: which people and which agents may call each Asana tool, and whether they can write as well as read. Start read-only and turn on writes later if you prefer.

  4. Add https://api.elaichi.ai/mcp as an MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, then sign in with your Elaichi account. Or, skip this step and use the Elaichi Agent in the browser.

  5. Try it. Here are some example prompts:

    • "What is overdue in the Q3 Launch project?",

    • "Summarize what my team closed this week",

    • "Create a task in Marketing to review the new pricing page and assign it to Priya, due Friday".

To disconnect, open Connections in Elaichi and remove the Asana connection. The token will be revoked, and no further calls will be possible.
