For third-party tools, they inherit their user's existing permissions and never override or elevate access.

You also control who can use and shape each AI Teammate. When created, an AI Teammate is private until you choose to share it with individuals or teams. Users can assign it work, while editors and admins can teach it and refine its knowledge, ensuring it learns the right information for your organization.

Yes, Asana AI Teammates are built with enterprise-grade security and privacy protections. As always, neither Asana nor our AI partners use customer data to train AI models, and Asana’s AI partners delete your data after each AI interaction. 

When first created, AI Teammates can see tasks and projects public to the domain, just like new users. From there, AI Teammates must be explicitly added as project members or collaborators to private work graph objects (e.g., tasks, projects, teams) in order to see and search through them. 

Asana AI Teammates can be assigned tasks like any other team member. They use project context to complete work and collaborate with your team. With their team-wide memory, AI Teammates improve by building knowledge of how your team works through feedback over time.
