Asana Tips: Kanban boards

Kanban board? Can do!

Here's how to create a manager project in Board view. When you're creating a project, choose board. Just like list view, you can add tasks, sections, and fields quickly. You can always switch between views to see the same info in different ways.

Boards really shine for work moving through stages that you want to visualize. For example, a kanban style to see what's still to do, what's in progress, and what's done, like for a launch or sprint plans. Pipeline projects to track accounts, work requests, or projects with visuals.

Like a blog calendar or an inspiration board. Here are some tips to power up your board. Adjust your board in card view to see details you need. For example, you can sort by assignee to see what's on everybody's plate, or you can see and complete subtasks from a card.

And more.

You can also set up rules to save time and automate work by eliminating repetitive steps. For example, every time you complete a task, you can set up a rule to move it to the done column.
