### What is Beamtrace?

Turn AI search visibility fixes into Asana tasks your team can own, with statuses that stay in sync.

Beamtrace is an AI visibility platform that shows how your business performs when people turn to AI for recommendations, and identifies the content and website fixes that improve it. Without a handoff, those fixes stay stuck in a dashboard. This app puts them where your team already plans work.

###### What you can do with it
- **Turn fixes into tasks:** Sync open improvements to the project and section you choose. Each task carries the description, impact, effort, and a link back to Beamtrace. Reruns skip what's already synced.
- **Track progress where your team works:** Complete a task in Asana and the improvement is marked done in Beamtrace.

### How to connect Beamtrace + Asana?

###### Prerequisites:
- A Beamtrace account with at least one tracked website
- An Asana account with a project to receive tasks

###### Steps to connect:
- In Beamtrace, open **Integrations → Asana** and click **Connect**.
- Review the permissions on Asana's consent screen and click **Allow**.
- Back in Beamtrace, choose an Asana project and a section for new tasks, then click **Save**. You can also create a new project here.

###### Use it:
- Click **Sync open improvements**. Beamtrace creates one Asana task per open improvement in the chosen section. Running it again skips improvements that already have a task.
- Open any task in Asana to see the description, impact effort, and an "Open in Beamtrace" link.
- Mark a task complete in Asana. The matching improvement is marked done in Beamtrace within a few seconds.
- In Beamtrace, click "Open in Asana" on any improvement to jump to its task.

###### Disconnect:

Go to **Integrations → Asana → Disconnect**. Existing tasks will remain in Asana.
