# HyNote

### What is HyNote?

HyNote turns meetings and other content into reusable notes, then extracts clear action items. Send unfinished TODO items from a notebook to an Asana project, choosing one or more TODO lists when a notebook contains several. Optionally assign tasks and add due dates before sending. This connects the context you capture in HyNote with the project planning and tracking your team does in Asana.

### How to connect HyNote + Asana?

**Follow these steps to connect HyNote and Asana:**
- Sign in to HyNote ([https://hynote.ai](https://hynote.ai)) on the web.
- In the sidebar, go to Account → Integrations & Apps
- Find Asana, and complete the authorization.

**Once connected, follow these steps to send tasks to Asana:**
- Upload a new notebook to HyNote or open an existing one.
- Choose a template in the notebook to generate a TODO list, then review its action items. Make sure it contains unfinished items to send.
- Open the notebook containing the TODO list. From the share or export menu, select Asana to open the "Send to Asana" dialog.
- In the dialog, select an Asana workspace and project, then review the unfinished items. You can optionally set an assignee and deadline for each item. Click "Send task(s)" to create the tasks in Asana.
- Review the task creation results in the dialog and confirm that the tasks appear in the selected Asana project. Send a few more items to verify the workflow.
