Inside and out of the classroom, learning never stops. As University students at Asana, whether interns or new graduates, we grow quickly by taking on responsibility and making an impact on core projects. We’re students from across the world, from many different backgrounds, who have all come to Asana to continue our learning journeys.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our 2017 intern class. As an intern, you will take on a variety of projects, like building features, testing infrastructure, implementing subtle interaction behaviors, or designing data models. You’ll help us maintain a codebase and a culture that are a joy to work in, contributing to everything from the broadest strategic discussions to the specifics of a marketing campaign and launch. You will also learn how a successful organization runs itself and be supported as a human being, not just an engineer. According to a past intern, we’re “really just one big family” where everyone is “encouraged to live healthy, balanced lifestyles”.
A constant desire to learn and improve
A Strong background in computer science
Kindness and maturity
Passion for creating a superlative user experience, down to those little details that matter
Sound judgment for balancing between scrappiness and long-term code maintainability
Does the above sound like it might be you? Then we’d love to hear from you. Our goal is to provide a hiring and working experience in which all people feel they are equally respected and valued. So whatever it is that makes you unique—your gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, citizenship, educational background, socioeconomic status—we value it, and we’d love to see what you might add to our team.
We’re glad to hear you’re interested this job. If you’d like to learn more about our internship program, we recommend these links.
