Events Manager, EMEA

On the heels of Asana's exponential global growth, we are hiring an EMEA Event Manager in Dublin/London to join our growing EMEA Marketing team. The EMEA Event Manager will work closely with the Revenue Marketing team, internal partners and third party agencies to help build and execute our events programme across the region. You'll work with others across Asana to create event experiences that delight, inspire, and educate our audiences, bring our brand to life, and help expand our reach around the globe.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow an important part of the business. You will develop programs to increase brand awareness, engage prospective customers & customers and drive strategic high impact event marketing initiatives to support the EMEA sales team. If you're someone that obsesses over the attendee experience, loves digging into data and metrics, and enjoys brainstorming event formats as much as perfecting the tiniest details, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll achieve:

  • Produce events from concept through completion: identify opportunities, define strategy and goals, manage vendors, source diverse speakers and audiences, and keep track of event metrics 
  • In close partnership with Sales and Revenue Marketing, develop and expand the scope of the events program to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, generate pipeline and bring our reach to new markets
  • Incorporate data-driven insights into the full event lifecycle, from strategic pre-planning through post-event reporting
  • Develop new event ideas, concepts, processes, and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event touchpoints and locations
  • Refine and document the workings of our events program alongside the team, helping us scale our program in the region

About you

  • You’re a problem solver that is comfortable with ambiguity and willing to partner with revenue marketing, sales and customer success to build event marketing programs that meet the needs of the region
  • 5+ years of experience in high technology B2C/B2B enterprise software or SaaS required with previous experience in event management required
  • You have knowledge of tech conferences and the sales landscape in the Saas industry
  • You have an ability to manage projects to tight timelines. Responds under pressures of time and uncertainty
  • A wealth of event planning knowledge and comfortability executing the A to Z details for a variety of event formats, small and large
  • Experiencing managing relationships with event vendors and agencies
  • A passion for transforming brand principles into real-life experiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to earn trust and respect of peers and partners
  • Ability to travel regionally and globally as needed once travel restrictions are lifted
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, and can easily adapt to change
