Infrastructure Engineer, Enterprise Technology

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer that has expertise in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform. You will ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. This role is part of the Integration Team under Asana's Enterprise Technology organization and our mission is to accelerate the business by connecting systems and data seamlessly.

The Enterprise Technology team at Asana is responsible for delivering great user experiences through secure, scalable technology, and enabling processes, data, and analytics that power the business and help Asana achieve its mission. To do this, we collaborate deeply with the best of minds and teams at Asana that run our business and build our product.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be foundational to how the company operates by supporting Asana's business and finance teams.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Architect and operate innovative solutions built on AWS
  • Design and implement AWS architectures and environments
  • Play a key role in migrating and transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
  • Design Native Cloud Application Architectures and optimize applications for AWS
  • Evangelize migration of current solutions to new Enterprise Technology optimized solutions
  • Design and Build CI/CD and automation services for deployment and Quality Engineering

About You

  • 5+ years of experience with designing and building cloud infrastructure
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with hands-on keyboard AWS implementation across a broad range of AWS services
  • Must have working knowledge and AWS development experience with the following:
    • VPC, Cloudwatch, Route53, IAM, Cloud Formation
    • S3, Aurora, Redshift, EMR, Glue
    • EC2, Lambda, Auto Scaling
    • Strong knowledge of python and scripting

  • Terraform, Cognito, API, KMS, Gateway Step Functions, Simple Notification Service
  • Gitlab, Airflow, Kinesis, Kafka
