## Asana updates for iOS and Android

We’ve been hard at work since our last [mobile feature update](https://blog.asana.com/2016/08/whats-new-asana-mobile/), just in time to gift you an even better Asana mobile experience on [iOS](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/asana-team-tasks-conversations/id489969512) and [Android](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asana.app&hl=en) for the holidays. Whether you’re in slow season or crunch time; checking in from the train or your Mom’s sofa in Maine—you and your team can stay connected, and know where work stands more easily than before.

## New on Android

#### Team pages

One of the top requests we get is for team management on mobile—so [Android users](https://asana.com/guide/help/android/basics), your wish is now granted! You can manage teams straight from the app, so you don’t need to go back and forth between mobile and desktop.

To get to team pages, click the conversation bubble icon from the main screen, and select which team you want to view. Next, click the information icon in the top right corner and there’s the team page.

From team pages you can:
- Invite and remove team members
- View and edit the team name and description
- See all projects and members in your team, and create new projects
- View team conversations
- View individual team members’ pages (see next section)

#### Profile pages

In addition to team pages, you can also see profile pages. Profile pages are similar to [profile cards](https://blog.asana.com/2016/02/polish-week-know-your-teammates/) in our desktop app where you can hover over someone’s avatar and see their photo, role, team, and more details. This is especially important if you want to make sure you have the right person, or learn more about their role when you’re away from your desk. There are many ways to view a profile page on Android:
- Search for the person then tap their avatar in the search list
- Go to a project page, and click on the list of project members
- Tap on the followers at the bottom of a task, then select the person you want
- Tap the information icon in someone’s My Tasks list
- Tap on an avatar in a conversation or comment

#### In Apps search

Earlier this year, [Google released the In Apps feature](https://blog.google/products/search/a-new-way-to-search-for-content-in-your/), which pulls up results from your own apps in Google searches. Now you can search for tasks, projects, conversations, and teams in Asana without even opening the app. But don’t worry—the results can only be seen by you. Search in the Google app and Asana results will pull up with our logo next to them. Type **enter** for even more results and details, which will show in the **In Apps** tab of the Google search app.

## New on iOS

#### 3D touch

We’ve also added some _nice touches_ to our [iOS app](https://asana.com/guide/help/ios/basics), with 3D touch to make it even easier to track work on the go. Now, when you hard press on the Asana app, you can:
- Add a new task (or a new task with a photo attachment)
- Go to My Inbox
- Search

All possible without even opening the app so you can jot down an idea or check something quickly.

#### Inline task creation

We’re also spreading the cheer for iOS users this time around with inline task creation. Head to the top of My Tasks or any project and start typing the task name, and press enter (just like web app) to create tasks faster than ever. You can fire off task lists lickety split.

At this time of year, it’s especially important that you and your team can move easily from desktop to mobile, and stay connected regardless of where you happen to be. Checking work on the go should be fast and simple, which is why we keep rolling out the mobile goodies.
