Students will need to provide student ID cards, an enrollment certificate, a confirmation of  studies letter, or a tuition free receipt, either for the current academic term or for a term within the previous six months. Students must be enrolled at higher education institutions offering a formal accreditation for students 18 years of age and older. Unfortunately, administrative offices, research institutes, teaching hospitals, and certified teaching/training programs do not qualify.

Yes, it’s free to create an Asana account. Students can access more advanced features by signing up with a university email and applying for the student discount. The student discount will give eligible students access to the [starter plan](https://asana.com/plan/starter) for 12 months, with a limit of 50 users for free. At the expiration of the free trial, users will be charged at Asana's then-current pricing found on Asana's pricing page.

#### How do I create a student workspace?

- Sign up for a free Asana account with your personal email address. 
- Fill in your information. For the title/role, indicate that you are a student. 
- After you’ve signed up for an Asana account and/or logged into your account, you will be prompted to complete your application with Goodstack to apply for the student discount. Goodstack will review the application for eligibility. 
- If approved, Goodstack will notify you in your Asana account that you are ready to apply the discount. You will be taken to a checkout page where you’ll be required to enter your credit card information and the discount code. You won’t be charged at checkout, only at the renewal period after the annual discount expires. 
- If denied, our partner Goodstack will notify you via email.
