### What is Transkriptor?

Transkriptor turns your meetings, calls, and audio or video files into accurate, searchable text, and then pushes the results straight into Asana. When a recording finishes processing, Transkriptor automatically creates a task in the workspace and project you choose, containing the date, participants, an AI-generated summary, and links to the full transcript and the original recording.

### How to connect Transkriptor + Asana?

**Prerequisites:**
- A Transkriptor account (the free plan is enough) and an Asana account with permission to create tasks in the target workspace.

**Follow these steps to connect Transkriptor and Asana:**
- Sign in at [https://transkriptor.com](https://transkriptor.com) and open Integrations from the menu.
- Find Asana in the list and click Connect.
- Approve the Asana authorization screen. Transkriptor asks only to read your workspaces and projects, and to create projects and tasks.
- Back in Transkriptor, choose the Asana workspace and the project where tasks should be created. If you do not have a suitable project, Transkriptor creates one called "Transkriptor Meetings".
- Choose what each task should contain: the AI summary, a link to the full transcript, and a link to the recording.
- Upload an audio or video file, or let the Transkriptor meeting bot join a call. Once the transcript and AI summary are ready, a new task appears in your Asana project with the date, participants, the summary, and the links.

**Troubleshooting:** if tasks stop appearing, your Asana authorization may have expired. Open Integrations in Transkriptor and reconnect Asana.
