### What is Hatchproof?

Hatchproof is an AI-powered platform that helps teams manage hiring, HR, and day-to-day work in one place. Connecting Asana lets Hatchproof surface your projects, tasks, and goals alongside your team and hiring data, so managers get a clearer picture of progress without switching tools. The integration is read-only — Hatchproof never creates, edits, or deletes anything in your Asana workspace. Setup takes a single click: authorize once, and your workspace data starts flowing in automatically.

### How to connect Hatchproof + Asana?

**Prerequisites:**
- User must be Admin or Manager in Hatchproof in order to connect Integrations.
- User must be on the Business plan of Hatchproof.
- An active Asana account.

**Steps to Connect:**
- Log in to Hatchproof and click on the gear icon in the sidebar → Setup Essentials.
- Head over to the Integrations section.
- Find Asana under Project Management and click Connect.
- You'll get the OAuth pop-up of Asana to authorize access — sign in and approve the requested permissions (read-only access to workspaces, projects, tasks, goals, teams, and users).
- Once authorized, you'll be redirected back to Hatchproof, and the integration will show as Connected.
